Beauty & Essex at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas

If you know, you know.

And if you don’t — that’s kind of the point.

Hidden behind a functioning pawn shop and glittering jewelry cases, Beauty & Essex is one of those Vegas experiences that still manages to feel like a discovery, even inside a mega-resort. You walk past guitars and vintage pieces, half wondering if you’re in the right place, and then a door opens and suddenly you’re in a velvet-lit, chandeliered dining room that feels equal parts supper club and secret.

It’s theatrical in the best way. Dramatic without being try-hard. Sexy without being loud.

Very Cosmopolitan.

The Entrance Is Part of the Fun

You don’t just arrive here — you transition.

The pawn shop front is real, browsable, and full of conversation pieces. It slows you down and builds anticipation. By the time you step into the restaurant, the reveal hits.

Pro tip: give yourself extra minutes because you will want photos.

What We Ordered (and Loved)

The French dip sliders are ridiculous.

Savory, rich, perfectly tender, messy in the way the best bites are. If you order only one thing, make it this.

But honestly? Nothing missed.

The bone marrow was indulgent and beautifully presented.

The grilled cheese tomato soup bites on spoons were flavorful and fun.

Even the small details — sauces, herbs, plating — felt considered.

It’s upscale comfort food with polish.

The room glows at night. Low light, gold accents, plush seating — it makes everyone look good.

Cocktails lean creative but approachable, and the energy is perfect for:

• date night

• girls night

• celebratory dinner

• or impressing out-of-towners

You can dress up and it feels right.

Why This Dinner Hit Different

We came during our staycation in a Bungalow Suite at the Cosmopolitan (I’ll link that stay for you because it deserves its own moment).

So the night already had that elevated, special-occasion feel — and Beauty & Essex matched it effortlessly.

Dinner here feels like part of the event, not just fuel before the next thing.

Final Verdict

Exceptional from start to finish.

Service, pacing, atmosphere, food — all dialed in.

It’s memorable, photogenic, and worth planning ahead for reservations.

Would I send someone visiting Las Vegas here without hesitation?

Absolutely.
